V Fuel
For a growing food brand, packaging needs to look great without adding unnecessary cost to every box.
V-Fuel wanted their meat boxes to feel distinctive and professionally branded, while still being able to use a standard, off-the-shelf corrugated outer. Their initial concept showed a branded box, but achieving this through fully printed corrugate wasn’t the most cost-effective solution.
The challenge was to find a way to achieve the same visual impact while keeping the packaging practical and commercially viable.
Working from V-Fuel’s concept, we developed a packaging solution combining a standard corrugated box with a printed wraparound sleeve and branded labels.
The sleeve provides the main branded impact across the outside of the box, transforming a standard stock carton into a distinctive V-Fuel delivery box. Labels were then used on the sides and inside of the lid to extend the branding throughout the unboxing experience.
This approach allowed V-Fuel to achieve the look and feel of a fully branded box without the investment required for custom printed corrugate.
Bringing the Concept to Life
V-Fuel also used our Packaging Graphic Design service at Custom Pack Studio to help turn their initial concept into production-ready artwork.
The original concept visuals had been AI-generated, giving the team a clear direction for the look and feel they wanted to achieve. We used these visuals as the starting point, recreating and refining the graphics into artwork suitable for professional packaging production.
This included developing the sleeve artwork and supporting labels while ensuring the final designs were practical for the chosen production methods.
The Result
The finished packaging combines a cost-effective stock corrugated box with high-impact printed elements, giving V-Fuel a distinctive branded presentation without the expense of fully printed corrugate.
The result is a flexible packaging solution that can be produced efficiently while still delivering the premium, considered look that V-Fuel wanted for its Scottish venison range.
