A custom packaging supplier on Glasgow’s doorstep
We deliver to every Glasgow postcode, from G1 across to G81, covering the city centre, the West End, the Southside and the East End. Most orders reach a Glasgow address the next working day after dispatch, and UK delivery runs nationwide for brands that ship further afield.
The boxes are made by our own production team at the Irvine factory. Custom Pack Studio’s parent company, KennedySmith (Press) Ltd, has made print and packaging in Scotland since 1997.
The custom packaging we make for Glasgow businesses
A handful of box formats cover most products, and we make every one to your dimensions and your print. Which format suits you depends on how the product is sold and shipped, so tell our packaging experts what you are packing and they will point you to the right one.
Retail and product boxes
For products sold in shops, a printed carton is the standard product packaging on the shelf. Reverse tuck-end boxes suit lighter goods like cosmetics and supplements, while crash-lock boxes have a base that locks flat for heavier items. Both are branded packaging printed across every panel, carrying your brand identity whether the product sits on a shelf in the Merchant City or in a stockroom waiting to go out.
Mailer boxes for online orders
If you sell online, a custom mailer box protects the product through the courier network and gives the customer a proper unboxing rather than a plain brown parcel. Printed inside and out, a mailer box carries your brand into the customer’s home, which for many Glasgow online sellers is the only physical contact they get.
Gift and presentation boxes
Gift boxes turn a product into something ready to give. A rigid box or a magnetic-close lid, finished with foil stamping, embossing or a soft-touch coating, signals a premium product before the lid is even lifted. Glasgow’s food, drink and craft brands lean on this format for the gift and hamper market, where the look and feel of the box is part of what sells it.
Sleeves, wallets and inserts
A printed sleeve slides over a product or an inner tray and adds branding without replacing the existing packaging, which suits short promotional runs. A wallet-style box folds around flatter products, and printed inserts hold items steady inside a larger box so nothing shifts in transit.

No minimum order, from one box upward
Most packaging suppliers set a minimum order of 500 or 1,000 boxes. For a startup or an independent maker who has not proven a product yet, a run that size is a heavy commitment of budget and storage space before a single sale.
There is no minimum with us. You might take one box to judge the print quality, fifty for a weekend market or a soft launch, or a high-volume run of several thousand once a retailer comes on board. The price per unit falls as the quantity rises, and we quote in writing for whatever size you need. Reorders run on the same setup, so scaling up never means paying to design the packaging again.
Packaging design help for your brand
You do not need a designer to order custom packaging from us, because design help is part of the service.
If you already have artwork, you can upload your design and we will get it press-ready, checking the colours and resolution work on board rather than on a screen. Hand us a logo saved as a JPEG or another image file format, and we will rebuild it to the standard packaging print actually needs.
If all you have is an idea, that is fine too. We will settle the box structure with you, set up the print-ready artwork, and talk through the technical decisions in plain language so nothing feels like a guess.
If a product does not fit any standard box, we design a new structure for it, and that design work is included in the service. You can also book a design consultation to talk the project through before anything starts.
The Glasgow sectors we work with
We make packaging for Glasgow businesses across food and drink, health and beauty, e-commerce and independent retail. Each sector below has its own requirements, and the format and finishes change to match.
Independent retail and makers
Glasgow’s independent shops, market traders and makers rely on packaging to do some of their marketing for them. A product sold at a weekend market or stocked in a small West End shop has seconds to make a first impression, and branded packaging that reflects your brand is what earns a second look.
Food and drink
Food and drink packaging has to be safe in contact with the product and stand up in-store. We hold BRC Global Packaging certification at the High Hygiene grade, so our food packaging is made under controlled, traceable conditions. Retail buyers often ask for that certification before they will list a product.
Online and e-commerce sellers
The city has a growing community of online sellers shipping across the UK and further afield. For an e-commerce brand, the box is the first thing the customer sees, and a well-fitted, branded mailer cuts damage in transit and makes the delivery feel considered.
Health, beauty and cosmetics
For cosmetics and skincare, the carton has to protect fragile glass and compacts and look right on a shelf. We print these boxes with finishes such as spot UV, metallic ink and textured coating, and build in fitments so a bottle or compact travels without knocking about.

Sustainable, recyclable packaging
Every box we make is 100% recyclable. Our FSC and PEFC certification means each sheet of board can be traced to a responsibly managed forest through an audited supply chain, and the facility works to the ISO 14001 environmental standard.
Cardboard and corrugated board go into kerbside recycling across Glasgow and the wider UK, so a customer can put the packaging out with the rest of their recycling. Where a coating or laminate would make a box harder to recycle, we leave it off unless food safety calls for it, and we point you to the recyclable option before you decide.

Custom packaging Glasgow FAQ
How much does custom packaging cost in Glasgow?
The cost depends on the box format, the size, the print and the quantity, so there is no single price. Pricing scales with the quantity you order, and small runs cost more per unit than larger ones. We give you a written quote before any work starts, with no obligation and no hidden costs.
Can I order just a few boxes?
Yes. There is no minimum order, so you can order one box, 50, or several thousand. That suits Glasgow startups, market traders and businesses testing a new product range before they commit to volume.
How fast can you deliver packaging to Glasgow?
Most orders are ready two to three weeks after you approve the proof, and Glasgow deliveries usually land the next working day after dispatch. If you have a fixed launch date, tell us at the quote stage and we will be straight about whether the timeline is realistic.
Do I need finished artwork to order?
No. Print-ready artwork is welcome, but a logo and a rough idea are enough for our team to take the design the rest of the way. Our online design tool is there too if you would rather make a start on screen before involving anyone.
Why does packaging branding matter?
For most customers, the packaging is the first physical thing they handle from your brand. A branded box that fits the product builds recognition and looks deliberate, while a plain generic box does nothing for you and can make a new brand look unfinished.
Can I see the packaging before it goes to print?
Yes. We send a proof for every order, and a physical sample where the format needs one, so you can check the fit, the print and the finish. Nothing goes into production until you have approved it.
